Storytime for Tots

 

After singing and dancing to some classic nursery rhymes, children saw some rhymes on Mrs. Amera's flannel board, and got a special treat  to hear some of the different sounds animals make.  Later we played Peek-A- Boo, caught bubbles, pet some puppets, & shared some laughs! After playing with our butterflies, singing to 3 little ducks, playing peekaboo, jumping to catch the bubbles, and dancing to nursery rhymes; these tots are   ready for naptime!  

Preschool Storytime

 

 Thank you for joining our Preschool Storytime session. Our next Preschool Storytime session will be held on July 11, 18, & 25; registration begins on June 27th for these three dates.

If you missed this storytime, come in and check out Blue Goose by Tafuri, and Sylvie by Sattler. Also make sure to view our music c.d. collection. CHILDREN LOVE moving to music! & I love watching them shake around :O)

Frindship Story & Craft

After reading about this adorable friendship between an orangutan and a dog, children had the chance to decorate a friendship bracelet.

 A special thank you to all the adults that came out in the rain for this program.

School-Age Mother's Day Program

  Children created a unique card for Mother's Day. Each vase was specially designed and hand painted (with water color) by the child for someone special! I hope you had a great Mother's Day!

Read to a Therapy Pet

If you haven't experienced our Read to a Therapy Pet Program, you can sign up for our next session on Tuesday, May 15th at the Iselin Branch library. Reserve a 15 minute slot between the hour of 7:00-8:00pm and experience the joy of meeting a new friend. Thanks to these volunteers these pets were able to enjoy a few great stories at the Iselin library!  This program is for children in grades 2 and up.

Preschool Storytime

After listening to Mini Racer by Kristy Dempsey and moving to The Wheels on the Race Car by Alexander Zane, children created their own  cars. Constructed mainly by paper tubes & plates, children had a great time sharing stories, rhymes, and laughter at their library! See you all this Wednesday and prepare yourselves for a Pirate Adventure! :O)
