READ to a Therapy Pet!

A special thanks to our volunteers Kayleigh, Libby, & Sandy and their owners (of course) for coming out on many evenings rain or shine to provide this special program. As you can see by some of my pictures children and pets enjoy this program!

People have different styles of reading and pets say THANK YOU in a very differnt way!

Look for our next program in September!

Library Game Day

If you missed this program, mark your calendar for our next Iselin Branch Library Game Day on Friday, July 13th.

Come learn a new game and meet new people! Or just hang out with your family and friends. Either way I'm sure you'll be smiling the whole time...after you've READ the directions :O)

HAVE FUN playing around!

School Age Summer Program

Mrs. Amera gave the children a choice between a humming bird or a bee. Some siblings worked together to accomplish this program, now take a careful look at the children's balloons to see if you can tell how many made bees and how many made humming birds.

Preschool Summer Program

mmmm...how do you like your ice cream? On a cone or on a banana? With sprinkles or without? Mrs. Amera chose the not so messy construction craft!

After listening to Mouse's First Summer by Lauren Thompso, we had a great time talking about our summer days.

Preschool Pajama Storytime

After listening to Z-Z-Zoink! by Bernard Most and How about a Kiss for me? by Woodruff; we sang some rhymes and created an owl.

Look for more pictures on our facebook page!

Mrs. Amera had a great time watching the children make new friends, work together, and share (pieces and their talents).

School Age Father's Day Program

As you can see, children have different ways of creating cards, but they all had similar feelings towards their parents! Many showed great appreciation to the adults who signed them up and brought them to the library!
Don't forget to stop by before SUNDAY and pick up your dad's favorite childhood book!

Preschool Father's Day

This week mothers and grandparents took the time to create unique father's day cards at the Iselin library.  After adding their special messages for their daddies, many of the children chose some of their favorite stories to create a priceless moment with their dads this Sunday!

You may have missed this craft, but don't miss the chance to share stories with a loved one. Stop by your local library today!
