Woohoo! It didn't rain today! Children you did a great job decorating the path to the Iselin Branch. Parents you did a great job finding the shaded areas :O) Today everyone left with coupons for a FREE Applebee's Sundae & of course lots of COOL BOOKS from their LIBRARY!

Preschool Storytime

Mrs. Amera was re-telling an adaption of the story In a Dark, Dark Room by Alvin Schwartz.

 

 This week we went camping in the library! After listening to some spooky stories(in the dark), we went on a BEAR hunt! We sang  songs, learned some rhymes, then made something (no, not s'mores); we each built our own campfires :O)

Children had the chance to show off some of their skills on Saturday! Dancers, singers, instruments... PERFORMERS! After the performance, Mrs. Amera raffled off a Phineas and Ferb Guitar, congratulations to Kavya our winner! Kavya, don't forget the library can help you learn how to play your new instrument, just check out our new book Guitar (Master This) by Seb Wesson. Also, a great big thank you to all the children who participated and when you become famous remember the library will have books about you! :O)

 Thanks to Lowe's of Woodbridge, children were provided with safety goggles & aprons (that they got to keep) & a Lowe's game that they built! Each child completed their project and left with a patch,certificate, the joy of making something at the library, AND of course a lot of  BOOKS!
