Preschool Storytime

 We started this program with a quick binoculars craft, then we listened to Starry Safari by Ashman and We're Going on a Lion Hunt by Cuyler. Later, after dancing and jumping and catching some bubbles. Children chose an animal mask and began creating their own lion, tiger, or monkey!

Story & Origami Program

 

 After listening to Mrs. Amera's stories while paper folding and listening to Lizzy's Friends by Grace Lin, children had time to learn the stories Mrs. Amera told and learned how to make a fortune teller.

As a bonus: Mrs. Amera also learned something that day! She was taught how to make a hat/box. :O)

After the program, children checked out books to learn more origami.... If you've missed this program, come in anytime and check out our books. Maybe you'll get a chance to teach Mrs. Amera, a friend, a relative, a teacher, etc. something you've learned at the library!

Pajama Storytime

 
 This month, Mrs. Amera read: Hibernation Station by Meadows and Please, Pick me up Mama! by Luebs.

If you haven't read Hibernation Station by Meadows, visit your local library today and read it tonight :O)

As you can see, with some help, children created their own night time critters. These raccoons love listening to bedtime stories!

Preschool Storytime

After listening to Snow by Stojic and If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Numeroff. Children had a great time creating their own special Moose hats!

Preschool Pajama Storytime

 

 
Mark your calendars for Thursday, January17th to join our next Preschool Pajama storytime...Parents I promise I won't make you come in your pajamas. Children are asked to come in their comfy pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal! What will Mrs. Amera wear? Come and join the fun. Registration began January 3rd for children ages 3 -5.

Winter Story & Craft

 Don't forget to sign up for our next school-age (Grades K - 7) story and craft on Jan. 22nd from 4:15 - 5:00pm. Our Origami Program! Maybe you can teach Mrs. Amera some of the things you learned from our books :O)
