The Woodbridge Public Library's children's department would like to share information about our storytimes and special programs at the Henry Inman Branch Library.
This week children listened to duck stories and rhymes including I can help by Costello, and Little Quack counts by Thompson. After a fun filled morning, children left with these adorable duck hats and their little hands filled with books and music. See you next week for some fingerpainting FUN!
Children ages 3 - 5 attended a special party at the Iselin Branch Library. Children celebrated Batman's birthday by listening to SuperHero ABC by McLeod, decorating masks and capes, dancing to Spider-man and Friends music, partying with Batman's friend Buzz Lightyear, eating snacks, making a batmobile, and posing with BATMAN! :O)
Next Library Game Day will be on Friday, June 7th from 4:00 -4:45pm. No registration necessary, just come in and have some FUN! This program is for children of ALL AGES!
After listening to Dogs by Gravett, Spot goes to the Farm by Hill, and No Dogs Allowed by Davis. Children sang songs and acted out some rhymes. then left the evening with a new puppy face! Look for more pet stories at your local libray!
There is no registration for this program, children 12 - 24 months get together to sing and dance. If you're looking for more Dance Party Programs, mark your calendars and join us at the Iselin Branch Library on Mondays June 3 & June 17. Party starts at 11:00am!! :O)
Children listened to Llama llama home with Mama by Dewdney and Mouse's first Spring by Thompson. Then we acted out the stories ofMonkey and me by Gravett and Little Yoga by Whitford. YES, we got on our hands and knees and STRETCHED! At least the children did :O) Together we did several fingerplays and sang songs and concluded the program by making flowers.
