Dig Deep Talent SHOW!

Thanks to all our performers and the wonderful audience that came out on Saturday morning at the Iselin Library. This year our talented children performed music, dance, and a demonstration of karate forms.

Sidewalk Chalk @ the Iselin Library!

Last week, children enjoyed our outdoor program. While children were decorating the sidewalk at the Iselin Branch Library, children and parents enjoyed getting a splash of water while watching as bubbles were swirling in the air.  Thank you for all the wonderful artwork! Patrons loved seeing the colorful pictures as they entered the Iselin Branch.

Acting-Out In the Library!

This week, children had the opportunity to meet and learn from an experienced actor.  Children participated in a fun warm-up exercise, where they learned each other's names, then they learned how to make pretend objects and faces; after these exciting exercises children listened to Yucky Worms by Vivian French. Children learned a lot about worms and had the opportunity to act-out parts of the story.

Look what we did @ the Library!

Last week, after our Listen to your Summer Reading books for children entering Kindergarten in the fall, after listening to One Bean by Anne Rockwell children decorated planters and planted lima beans to take home and watch them grow. Thank you Jessica,Thomas, & family for taking care of your plants and for sharing your pictures with us.
