Dig Into Discovering Butterflies!

 

This year the Woodbridge Garden Club collaborated with the Iselin branch library on two special programs. During this program, children had the opportunity to see & touch butterflies up close. The junior garden club members, who meet at the Sewaren Public library once a month, were able to show the children caterpillars and butterflies and provide them with a lot of fun facts and information.  

Preschool Storytime

 Children enjoyed a Pirate storytime theme with Mrs. Amera. Together they went on a treasure hunt, did the Pirate Pokey, made their own pirate hats and swords, and had aarrrrrrr really good time!

Dig Into Garden Play!

A special thank you to the Woodbridge Garden Club for collaborating with the Iselin Branch Library and providing the children with a fun and educational program. Children had a great time using their senses, learning about different herbs and leaves, and mixing materials to make their own seed balls to take home and plant.

Dig Deep Talent SHOW!

Thanks to all our performers and the wonderful audience that came out on Saturday morning at the Iselin Library. This year our talented children performed music, dance, and a demonstration of karate forms.

 

Sidewalk Chalk @ the Iselin Library!

Last week, children enjoyed our outdoor program. While children were decorating the sidewalk at the Iselin Branch Library, children and parents enjoyed getting a splash of water while watching as bubbles were swirling in the air.  Thank you for all the wonderful artwork! Patrons loved seeing the colorful pictures as they entered the Iselin Branch.
