Library Game Day!

 Come to our next Library Game Day on Friday, August 5th between 10:00 - 12:00. No registration!

Preschool Storytime Session 1

 This week children enjoyed Dinosaur, Dinosaur by Lewis & How Do Dinosaurs Eat their Food? by Yolen. Mrs. Amera displayed some dinosaurs using the flannel board and attempted to name some of them. :O) We acted out the rhyme Five Enormous Dinosaurs, sang some silly dinosaur songs, and made our very own friendly dinosaurs to take home.

Dig Into Sand Art

 Children dug up their sand art pictures and got right to work! Siblings that were too young to create sand art pictures were able to sit and enjoy our summer reading theme coloring pages. Don't forget to sign up all your friends!

Summer Reading Club Kick-Off

 

Last week children experienced a special story with Jason the Scienceteller! Jason performed a fun-filled afternoon sharing the Bugs of Blackwood story while incorporating science in his retelling.  Visit your local library and ask about the FREE summer reading clubs for ALL age groups. Yes, even parents can join a Free Summer Reading club!

 

Dance Party

Look for our next Dance Parties in August at the Iselin Branch library! If you know a child between the ages of 12 - 24 months, who enjoys music, bubbles, movement, and BOOKS! Visit us on Mondays August 12 and August 26 from 11:00 - 1145am. No registration, just stop in and join the FUN! 

Twist with Two year olds

Thank for joining our Twist with Two year olds program, the next Twist with Two year olds program will be held on Thursday, August 8th from 11:00 - 11:45am at the Iselin Branch library. Also, make sure to join us this Friday, July 5th anytime between 10:00 - 12:00 for our Library Game Day.

Thanks to our volunteers and their pets, children have the opportunity to practice reading out loud and to meet friendly pets at the library!

Our next program will be held on Tuesday, August 27th between 7:00- 8:00. Registration begins two weeks prior to the program.
