After listening to The Scrambled States of America by Laurie Keller, children searched for their favorite state book & puzzle piece, READ a little about their favorite state, & began to decorate! Some worked with an adult, while others attempted this project solo. Next month look for this colorful display of the United States of America puzzle at the Iselin Branch Library! In honoring Dr. Seuss, Read Across America Day is celebrated on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss' birthday. The National Education Association sponsors events to inspire reading in children throughout schools and communities. So hurry in because March 2nd is this Friday!
