This month at the Iselin Branch Library we started a BOOK CLUB! Our club takes place once a month, on a Friday from 3:30 - 4:30pm. There is no registration for this program. Children between grades 3 - 7 are welcome to join the fun!Each month Mrs. Amera will choose an author of the month. Then we might talk about the author, the author's books/ illustrations, the style the author wrote in, genre, etc. Together we might make cards for the author/illustrator, we might draw/write about one of our favorite books/series for our display, you might meet new people, and if your lucky you might check out one of our NEW books! Everyone gets a chance to share their opinion and share their favorite or not so favorite book/author/series/etc.
Our September author of the month is Jon Scieszka. If you're in the mood to laugh, read or re-read some of your favorite stories.
